"Wearing is Sharing" explores how jewellery can create a space for people to meet and how it can pass on the stories of these encounters. Seven students from the Jewellery Halle at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design have undertaken a series of public intervention activities such as small workshops and interview-like conversations. Our intention is to enrich our understanding of the issues we are working on by broadening our horizons, meeting and sharing insights with people beyond our circle of friends. During Jewellery Week in Munich we will present the results of our fieldwork so far. We will also continue to work in public spaces in Munich. Our journey starts on March 12 at Galerie Handwerk.
